Save the Dolphins!

Have you ever gone out to sea and look out the boat to find a pod of dolphins swimming to the side of your boat?
It probably look something like this, right?


Or if you ever gone scuba diving and have seen this?

 

or have gotten the chance to to do this?

Dolphins are some of the most beautiful, playful, lovable creatures that anyone could ever known 
But have you ever thought about what kind of people would like to harm them?

Well it is known that Japan is the number 1 place that actually wants to hurt them 
by slaughtering them!
Can you picture yourself walk through bloody water like this man is doing?

 


Waters contaimnated that it doesnt even look like a river anymore!
Would you drink that water?


WOULD YOU LET YOUR CHILDREN PLAY IN WATERS LIKE THESE?

Best way to help is to get informed research and stop clubs to get others informed!
START DOING YOUR PART AND STOP LETTING OTHERS COVER YOUR EYES!

What Would You Do....

Imagine your self in the center of New York City, its a sunny day the tourist are everywhere and there is a smell of wet sand and a breeze of the water... When all of a sudden all you hear is people yelling, see people running, and your just standing there wondering what is going on, when you start asking what going on a man tells you to turn around and as you turn you can see a hurricane that is almost the size of the city that is about to hit and then you realize that your just stand there with thought in your head of what your family might be doing are they okay do they even know before you know all those thought made you waste so much time that now your under water and your getting carried away with the current, trying to get a breath of air you push yourself towards the top but failing in doing so because of items that were flowing with the current. One of those items hit you on the head making you lose all hope of ever getting that fresh air again. now your just laying in the street going along with the flow of the current before you know it lights out....

This might be a true story or maybe not but if you think about all the life's that were lost with hurricane Sandy. Don't you think it time we did something find a way of this ever happening again???

The Obligation to Endure

For my next assignment I was asked to read "The Obligation to Endure" by Rachel Carson in this reading i found that Carson wanted to put an end to the contaimentation of pesticides in our food that is was slowly introduce to us by industries that now cover sugar-coated it and deny the truth that we rightfully desevered. Carson states that this pesticides are affecting our animals, humans, and even nature itself. In her writing she also mentions the Bill of Rights where she reminds everyone that the goverment is supposely suppose to protect us from any harm, well the harm is now coming from industries that the goverment IS SUPPORTING. Well to me her writing was very clear we have to find an alter ways to kill pesticides but in a way where we cant get harm from it. Otherwise we are only harming the human races and make us look like this...

Food Inc.

Food Inc. well lets see, after watching this movie for the second time I can honestly said that i have been officially disgusted by it. I mean to really think as to where our food comes from or how it process or if it even clean half the time. We take for granted half the thing that we give to our body because of all the big name brands that tell us "go ahead eat its okay" and with all the happy farm pictures on the labels we really don't think about how they were chop up into little pieces for us to eat. Before you eat anything really for says a cow or chicken or pork how can we tell that it is really fresh or even how can we say that, the very long trip from the place the animal was kill to the actual delivery place is still good. And after seeing some of the video, we never really think about how they are kill and if they are mistreated. Well to sum everything up I'm just going to leave some video's and next time you have a hamburger or chicken remember this and said no to cruelty

The New Wilderness Land Grab

 Elizabeth Arnold wrote "The New Wilderness Land Grabs". Elizabeth is trying to make an effort on the Wildlife and that there should be more tree planted because we ourselve are the one destroying it. Surprisly many were with her and made a huge impact. To see many coming together really makes you think that if they can do it

 So can we Let Help out and plant more trees

Atomic Dreams: How the Nuclear Lobby is Spinning Liberals, Lawmakers, and Grassroots Environmentalists

For my last reading assignment I was ask to read Atomic Dreams: How the Nuclear Lobby is Spinning Liberals, Lawmakers, and Grassroots Environmentalists By: Jason Mark. And in response to the reading it trying to say that maybe Atomic Energy should be given a second look because it could be preferrable to buring the carbon. Maybe instead of it being a bad thing to human kind it would probably be a new "green" product. After it had given a different perspecitive on what would have happen during the 1979 Three Mile Island  and the 1986 Chernobyl Disaster  After this happen now just leaves the question "Should we reconsider the use of Atomic Greens or are we going to risk another incident?"

Purpose....

For my first assignment i was told to write the purpose of this whole blog. Well the whole purpose of this blog is that I will be able to write down the thought that come into my head during the time of any reading or even research paper that i may have to write. Also i will be able to express myself with different thought from my other classmate. But most importantly i will be able to do my work on this blog and let my instructor well grade it i guess other than that i really don't know what the purpose is of this blog but i guess sooner or later i will figure it out and if i don't well then...
